Empowering Girls in Haiti Through Art, Education & Community Support
LIDÈ Haiti is building a future where every girl in Haiti can learn, create, play, and lead. Founded with the belief that art and education transform lives, LIDÈ supports girls in underserved rural communities through art-centered learning programs in safe and nurturing environments.
Currently reaching over 1,200 girls across 8 rural locations, LIDÈ focuses on girls aged 11 to 21 who face barriers such as poverty, interrupted schooling, trauma, domestic labor, abuse, food insecurity, and disabilities.
Through programs in creative arts, education, health, and community engagement, LIDÈ helps participants rebuild confidence, develop skills, and lead positive change in their communities.
Arts Programs: Theater, dance, photography, and creative writing help girls express themselves and heal through creativity.
Education Programs: Scholarships, tutoring, literacy training, guidance counseling, and digital skills open pathways to lifelong learning.
Health Programs: Nutritious meals, medical care, mental health services, and health education ensure holistic well-being.
Community Engagement: Parent education, school leadership training, home visits, and participation in child protection initiatives create stronger, safer communities.
